2009 spring retreat show & tell
Get ready to show yourselves, or tell us what you are not showing!
We are about to have another Show and Tell at EcoReality! We had a great deal of fun and learned alot about each other last we (the first time) did this event at the Winter Retreat.
Here are the basics of what you need to know.
The Show and Tell will take place on Monday, March 30th from 7pm to 8:30pm at the Yellow House.
The people we haven't heard from yet are Osha, Justin, Lily, Jessie and Sienna. We will also have a guest named Therese and a WWOOF helper named Stephen. This crew will have first dibs on the spaces. Please make the kid spots about 10 minutes instead of 15 then the adults will get enough time to share. If Shel and Christy are attending then Kalum may want to have his turn too. The Sign Up sheet will be available in the first two days of the retreat.
Here's how it works for those above who did not attend last time.
Each person who is on the roster for show and tell has 15 minutes (not more please) to show us or tell us something about their lives. Last time we had a wide variety of presentations from James' 1990's video clips of his band combined with a tour of his T-short collection, Jan's recordings of his music including tin whistle and vocals, Carol's bead work, Susie Anne's theatre portfolio, Rudy's geometric drawings, Shannon's major adventure to the Yukon in a slide show, Penny's yoga class, Mark's artwork, Shel's books he wrote as a child plus his photography, Christy's ecology game and riddle, Morris' story and songs. If I have missed anyone I apologize. Apparently my hard drive is getting full....
If you have any questions please let me know. And if you have any technical questions also let me know. We have the capacity to show films and slides over at Jan and Carol's. And there is a piano.
If you are travelling, remember to come prepared for your Show and Tell. Bring all the necessary props and accoutrements that you know won't be here already!
I am looking forward to having this time with you all!
Warmly, Susie Anne
