Need

Biodiesel on Salt Spring comes from far away, and is expensive.

Description

Organize a workshop. Bring in someone with biodiesel processor construction experience. Pay his expenses from workshop fees.

Goal or deliverable

A working biodiesel processor on-site.

Timeline, schedule, or end date

Hold workshop on September 30, 2006, begin biodiesel production soon thereafter.

Plan

  1. Get Kelly O'Toole on board as instructor.
  2. Purchase parts.
  3. Hold a workshop and build the processor.

Financial budget

  • About $450 in materials for the processor.
  • About $180 in travel expenses and workshop food.
