From EcoReality

Guests are non-permanent residents of the village, with no long-term financial commitment to EcoReality, but are expected to provide an ongoing financial support, such as rent, and to agree to the terms of the membership agreement. Guests may include WOOFers, seminar participants, villagers-in-training, etc. Depending on the situation, it may be appropriate for guests to take part in village council meetings, but without the power of a veto.
