- Maximizing yields- Michael Ableman or someone similar to talk about what we grew and how more of something can be grown with the space and resources we have. Option for presenter- Lower mainland horticultral improvement association

- Marketing of farm products- Dialogue group on market types and farm stand sales etc (invite ING and/or Farmer's Institute)
- Saltspring soapworks- Soapmaking workshop or discussion on what farm products are used for soap

- Canning products workshop
- Winter storage techniques for produce
- Apple pressing party for juice
- How to make tofu- homestyle tofu making - How to use all soy byproducts for cooking. Recipes and/or practical cooking. Possibly involving Saltspring tofu company
Livestock (OCTOBER 2007)
- Dave the vet on goats, horses, chickens, cats, dogs. Health, medications, clipping or maintenance, sanitation, bedding, what kind of space, diet, seasonal considerations or wintering
- Workshop on raising chickens
- Sheep workshop with local sheep raiser, probably wool sheep
Structure & Organization (NOVEMBER 2007)
- Possible workshop with Diana Leafe Christian
- Possible BCICA meeting or networking event
- Presentation from another community on their triumphs and challenges - Possibly invite Michael Hale from YES
- Tree Bressen consensus workshop
- Weekend workshop in another town or city about ecovillage design or natural building or consensus training

- The Nature Conservancy - discuss preserving land, ALR zoning info, putting land in trust, creating covenants
