      • Resolution to not use an external auditor (This must be decided annually, by separate resolution of both members and investors in each investor class. The stewards recommend approval of this resolution)

      • Pay a dividend to shareholders, up to the rate of inflation (1.5% for 2009). Due to uncertainty in asset value because of the addition of 26 acres to the tax lot, and to the stagnant real estate market, and to recent changes in membership, the recommendation of the Directors is that no dividend be declared for 2009. Most non-waterfront property on Salt Spring Island had a slight decline in asset value for 2010.

Saturday, 10 April 2010, Tour and work party

What? 
Tour and work party. Planting potatoes and beets, cleaning out goat shed, filling the holly feeder, and treating chickens for scaly leg mites.
When? 
13:00 through 16:30, rain or shine. If the weather is really nasty, we'll try to have indoor work available.
Who? 
General public — all are welcome! No notice needed. Residents will prepare a work plan and have tools and materials ready.
Where?

Bring? 
Boots, work gloves, dirty clothes, water bottle, and whatever else you need for working outside. We have all of the tools necessary.
