Talk:Budget 2010

Hi Carol, I have three items I am interested in having discussed to be on the upcoming budget for 2010. 1) $100 for the children's play area, specifically for materials towards a tree house 2) $350 for paying 50% of childcare costs for the whole year of compost meetings 3) $150 for the upgrade of the Ikea building, chassis, floor etc to make it into a functional space.

As for suggestions of how we might raise funds for these items, I would like to put forth the idea of a fundraiser specifically designed for children like a Bringing in the Spring Festival for the kid items. And for the Ikea building-hmmm, I would like to raise money by selling our own wildcrafted tea and hosting tea parties as I am thinking that it might represent our first version of the tea house I am envisioning on the land. We could have LOW tea parties instead of HIGH ones. I actually have energy for both those ideas as flaky as they may seem.

I would like to add some amount for Work Party lunches which I did know needed to come from me. I am not sure what amount to ask for at this time. I will need help. Susie Anne
