Cleome Rowe
Upbeat, compassionate and sensual, I love to work and play hard. I love to be outside or with family and friends and do not even own a TV. I keep busy teaching math and science or going for walks and sewing beautiful clothes and quilts.

Things I could never do without are

  1. My family
  2. My friends
  3. My health, but I realize that this is a precious thing that I must protect by not taking it for granted and by being proactive.
  4. My dog who is my faithful companion
  5. Spending time outside
  6. Good food to share with friends

I spend a lot of time thinking about how I can help make this world a better place, how I can reach young people and give them confidence and hope, and what I can do to protect this beautiful blue orb called Earth, so future generations can live joyously and without want.

You can read my Masters Thesis, Building sustainable communities using place-based learning.
