From EcoReality
My parents were doukabour Russian farmers. My childhood began on an acre of land that my father had bought and on this acre he and my mother grew and harvest and fed a family of 7. My first 18 years I lived with my parents learning how to provide for a family of 7 off this one acre of land.
My longing at this time, or my dream I have had for the last few years is to be a part of an Eco village, organic farm, with an acceptance of members who had a variety of natural and taught talents. Farming is our way of survival, yet we also have time in our day to write,or paint, sculpt, sew, weave or to teach and in doing so could add to our own income as well as to Eco village economy.
I am a mother of 5 children, all adults now except for my youngest, my son who is a gentle soul, who chooses not to harm the mouse who came into our apartment and decided to make home in his bedroom under the heating pipe. Our apartment building has the old boiler and heating pipes run from one suite to the next. We found a sticky trap at the $ store and caught this little guy only to let him go outside and asked him to no longer come back to our home. We are hoping .... *smile*.....
I have been working as a payroll specialist for a large corporation that will be soon closing its doors. In doing so it has lead me to look at my options. Shall I find a new payroll job or shall I find the Eco village family I have been dreaming of. The thought of waking up to the sun to spend a few hours in the gardens or tending to the animals, or making breakfast for a group of hungry people bring great joy to my heart. In the late afternoons I see my self working on my pottery wheel. teaching others my craft and sharing any of my art/craft tools and supplies with other who would like to explore the many mediums that are available to nurture ones creative side. I would like to be able to build myself a cob house and also an art gallery for our creative members. I have already named this gallery - "Gratitude".
I have experience in growing and harvesting, preserving and cooking great meals. I am a potter and sculptor. I am working on two novels and have so many creative project that I want to begin that will keep me busy for the next 20 years.
I love children and have been exploring the knowledge out there about indigo and Cristal children. I am soon to begin reiki classes as I believe in energy healing.
I moved to Victoria from Nelson, BC, where I lived for 10 years and Ilove the city, I found on my visit to Salt Spring Island the same energy that I miss by not being in the Kootenay mountains. I studied at the Kootenay School Art Craft and Design for 5 years with completing two majors, Clay Design and Creative Writing. I will soon add my resume so that you can see what skills and experience I can bring to the Eco village family if that is what will unfold for me. The following links below will take you to my blog pages which will show you a few of my clay designs.

Hello everyone,
I know I have not yet come to visit but I plan to visit in the spring. I would like to come and walk amongst the trees and plant life and see if your land is a match to my energy> I want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a wish for many blessings in the New Year.
